The Sound Energy Alternatives Coalition (SEA) seeks to encourage the development and deployment of clean, renewable energy on Long Island through facilitating impartial evaluation of emerging technologies and promoting public, community-oriented discussion of their environmental, economic and social impacts.
SEA is working to accomplish its mission by assisting market-ready, alternative energy technologies to compile application-specific performance data across a number of diverse Long Island geographies. Once publicly available, these data will allow interested users to asses a variety of alternative energy systems in order to help decide which technologies are right for their particular applications.
By participating in SEA's data collection efforts member organizations will gain new access to peers, local, state and federal officials, and potential investors. Members will also have access to assistance with grant preparation and execution from SEA and its partnership with SUNY Stonybrook.
We are actively searching for additional member organizations interested in promoting alternative energy on Long Island, from generation and other technology manufactures, to software developers, to corporate sponsors. Please contact us to find out more about how you can help!
